Hi there Terry! I was creating articles of East Asian Games in enwiki and I have a question about it's first edition (held in 1993). I looked for some sources hoping I would find something about possible team competitions conducted that year but going with German wiki, it says there were only individual competitions. However, when I checked these articles Jiang Xin & Wu Yuhong, it indicated that men's and women's team events were held in the first EAG. Is it possible if we could find some relevant sources about it? Thankyou! Zoglophie(留言) 2021年12月4日 (六) 18:17 (UTC)[回复]
@Zoglophie:I get some news archives of «People's Daily» which indicate men's and women's team event was held in 1993 EAG. Refer to below source and part of article:
Probably means: In men's team semi final, China 4:1 Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei 4:1 Korea. In women's team semi fianl, China 5:0 Hong Kong and Korea 3:2 Japan.
I want to share some inforamation of East Asian Games with you:
In 1997 East Asian Games, men's single bronze medalist - Jang Chun Wong must be Korean. Accroding to Chinese Taipei Olympic Committe official record, Chinese Taipei team only earn one medal in 1997 badminton event. And refer to this article: [1], Jang Chun Wong also mark as Korean. I think he may be this man: JANG Chun Woong.
1993 East Asian Games also held men's and women's team event. For more detail, you can see discussion on my zh-wiki page here. Terry850324 (Diskussion) 17:03, 6. Dez. 2021 (CET)
Thank you very much for the notification. Feel free to correct the issue when you find one (I will approve it). EAG I corrected and was already prepared by Zoglophie. Best regards --Florentyna (Diskussion) 21:23, 6. Dez. 2021 (CET)
